Happy Thanksgiving!

 

Here's a picture of me at 6 1/2 months pregnant. Everything continues to go great. We are excited the holidays are here. The holidays always seem to go by really fast, which this year we're happy about because it means we will be that much closer to the baby coming!
This year Billy's family will be coming to AZ for Thanksgiving. We are always excited when family comes to visit. Billy and I have a lot to be thankful for. Besides being thankful for our marriage, we have a beautiful home, good jobs, good health, the gospel, and a baby coming soon! We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for these wonderful blessings! Happy Anniversary!

 
 
Another month has past and here are pictures of me at 5 1/2 months pregnant! We are starting to feel the reality of having a baby and thinking that we need to start getting ready. We are able to feel the baby move and it's so much fun! We can't wait for her to arrive!

Billy and I both had Thursday and Friday off for Fall Break. We decided to take a trip to the Grand Canyon. Neither of us had been before and it was so beautiful. We will be posting pictures soon.

We also celebrated our 3rd anniversary yesterday! These past 3 years have been so wonderful! We have loved spending time together and developing hobbies we can do together. I am so grateful for Billy. He is such a wonderful husband who honors his Priesthood, supports our family, and is so loving! I love him so much! I'm so grateful we are a family that is sealed in the Temple for eternity!

A Little BeBe Snug...

 

We both wanted to wait a while before posting this to make sure everything was good. I am 4 1/2 months pregnant! I had the typical morning sickness-- nausea, throwing up, etc. We took it all as a good sign that everything was going well. Now that the 1st trimester is over with I'm not feeling too bad...just a little tired after work. We had an ultrasound about a week ago and got to find out the sex of the baby. It's a baby girl! I am due February 22nd. We are so happy, excited, and thankful for this great blessing!

Back to School

The title pretty much sums up what Billy and I have been up to the last 2 weeks. The summer has flown by and I found myself getting ready to go back to school. This year was a fun year for me b/c it meant that I was able to have my own classroom from the beginning of the year. I got my keys and entered the new 1st grade classroom that would hold my 32 students...yes, 32! I spent a lot of time cleaning and going through boxes of material that was left by old teachers. I finally feel like I'm more prepared. We have Open House on Saturday morning so I will get to meet all of my kiddos in a couple of days. I'm excited!
Billy also got ready for another school year. His classroom looks really nice. Desert Ridge started school this past Wednesday and Billy and I have both been really tired when we get home. Billy is teaching A-hour this year, a class that starts at 6:30 AM everyday. We are exhausted, but hope it gets better as we get adjusted to the schedule. Billy starts another semester in his masters program in a few weeks, so we'll see. I always thought that once I was done with school, life wouldn't be so busy. I was wrong. Billy and I seem to always have new activities coming up, esp. Billy. In addition to working, school, and mutual, he's also on a softball city league team with some friends playing every Tuesday....we'll see how well we (or maybe I should say, "he" manages it all).
We look forward to this new school year!

Havasupai

This is where we went on our super activity this year with the young men in our ward. Havasu Creek flows into the Grand Canyon; along the way there are three major water falls: Navajo, Havasu, and Mooney. The land belongs to the Havasupai Tribe but they allow people to camp there for a fee. It was one of the most amazing places I've ever been to. As an end to our family reunion we had the opportunity to be there as Tommy went through the Temple. It was such a wonderful experience for all of us to be in the Temple together. Thank you Janna, Zoe, and Becky for watching all the kids outside. The pictures include one of all of us together, Billy's brothers and sisters with his parents, the grandkids, the boys (didn't I marry into a good looking family or what?) and the 2 Williams (Billy and little Will). Our vacation was filled with so many fun things. Although it's nice to be home and back to our routine, we do miss the times together with family. Billy and I have always lived away from family so the special times mean so much!

While on vacation we had a family reunion with all the immediate family in Billy's family. Billy has a brother that has been in Okinawa, Japan for the last year working as an audiologist for the Navy. His family was able to come visit. This will be the last chance we will be together for 2 years. Billy's brother Tommy will be leaving on his mission in August. For the reunion we went camping. It was a lot of fun being together!
