Here's a sample of some of the things Billy has lost:
Fell off at a camp out: Never found.
Lost a tent at a camp out. In his defense, it wasn't set up. Miraculously it was found by a friend who happened to do the same hike the next day....in snow no doubt!
Lost, multiple times. but thankfully found every time. Latest time: Lost when playing basketball on vacation.Left on top of car after getting gas on the way out of Lancaster. Realized when we pulled into a gas station in Mesa, AZ. Never found.
And the latest:
Billy needed to bring in his driver's license and social security card to work on Thursday so that the secretary could fill out a form for employment purposes. I spent 2 hrs. looking for this card on Wed. with no luck. I found mine and Ryan's no problem. I didn't know if I lost it or Billy lost it or what. We knew not to leave it in our wallet, but could it have been in his wallet when he left it on top of the car? Identity theft? Oh no! We got bigger problems now.Billy left work early drove to North Phoenix to the Social Security Office so that he could get a new one. It was there, sitting in front of the lady helping him, that he realized he might have left it in his Passport. He was too embarrassed to look then (he had his passport with him so he could get a new card), but as soon as he walked out the door he looked and low and behold, there it was tucked in 1 of the pages at the back. He remembered he had put it there when he went to get his new driver's license from when he lost his wallet (the irony). By the way, he's getting a new card in 5-10 days.
We've been laughing about it ever since. Yes, Billy loses things, but I sure love the guy!
