Prophet, Seer, and Revelator

Chelsea and I were saddened by the loss of our dear prophet President Gordon B. Hinckley. His passing in many ways marks the end of a great era in the history of the church. President Hinckley was divinely prepared & appointed to be the man to lead the church into the 21st century. His leadership over the last 12 years has impacted this great work in ways that have forever changed our vision. Like Abraham, Moses, and Joseph Smith, he was a PROPHET, a man molded by the hand of God to lead the people of his day. I put this video together to give my students a chance to reflect on his life and leadership. I chose the music that I did because I felt Gordon B. Hinckley exemplified someone striving to pattern their life after the Savior.

The Latest...

Hey everybody! I know it has been a while since we put anything on our blog so we thought we would give you the latest update:
With the start of a new year, Billy also started a new semester at school. For those who don't know, Billy is in his Masters program at ASU. He enjoys it, but it certainly keeps him busy. He just finished a volleyball league (taking 1st) and had fun playing with Ben Dodge.
The start of the new year also brought new changes for me as well. I have a job teaching 1st grade beginning the 3rd week in February. I substitute from time to time, but have been spending most of my time working for a lady in Scottsdale as her personal assistant. The drive is long and I will be excited when my teaching job begins. The school is only about 3 miles away...it will be nice!

Billy's mountain bike adventures

Billy and I drove up to Sedona a couple months ago with some friends. Billy and a couple of other guys biked from Flagstaff to Sedona in 1 day. It was about 40 miles and they completed it in about 7 1/2 hours...yes, they were exhuasted when they were done. Along the way they were able to see some beautiful sights of Flagstaff.
