Once a month a friend and I trade so that we can each go on a date with our hubby. Billy and my date fell on the Friday before Mother’s Day. Now, ever since we’ve been first married Billy and I decided not to give gifts on any holiday (Valentine’s, B-days, Christmas, Mother’s/Father’s Day, Anniversary) and instead get 1 big gift for the whole year. Billy broke that rule this year when he took me to Costco to get this for me:
It’s a bike trailer that converts to a jogger and fits 2 kids. I saw it after Christmas and every time Billy and I would go he’d take me by it and asked if I wanted it…to which I’d say, “Oh I love it, but maybe in a few months.” I’m loving it.
I’ve also been wanting to get this chocolate mousse cake for a long time, but couldn’t bring myself to pay $15.99 for it. Billy loaded it in the cart and I was a very happy girl. And I’ll add, it was sooo yummy!
I’m loving this jogger. Billy made me breakfast Sunday morning too. Thanks Billy, Ryan, and Dani! I'm so blessed to be a mommy to these sweet little girls. They make me laugh and smile everyday. I love my family. It was a wonderful Mother’s Day!
