Oh, What do you do on Vacation?

So usually when you go on vacation it's relaxing and full of lots of fun activities. Well....we decided to do it differently this year. We have been a 1 car family for almost a year, driving a 1998 2 door Honda Civic. Billy works really close to home so he usually rides his bike to work everyday (about a 2-min. ride), making the 1 car family really not that bad...we were saving in insurance and gas...who can argue with that? We finally decided it was time to get an additional car. After a lot of research we decided on a Toyota 4Runner with a 3rd row seat. We started looking. The 1st dealership we went to had 2 that we liked on the lot, both with a 3rd row. They told us that the 3rd row was really rare and that it was amazing that they had one, blah, blah blah. We thought they were just trying to make a sell, so we left. Besides, we didn't want to buy the 1st car we saw. We went to another dealership that told us the same thing. We went back to the 1st dealership the following week and both cars were gone. We then called every Toyota dealership in AZ and nothing. We did this every week for several weeks and nothing. We even called dealerships in CA and UT that told us the same thing..."You know that it's pretty rare to find one." "Yes, we know." "Would you be interested in this other car?" "No. This is what we want." While at our family reunion in UT we found this one at one of the dealerships. Toyota 4Runner. 3rd row seat. Year we wanted. Mileage we wanted. Price we wanted. Even the color we wanted. Billy did all the wheeling and dealing and gave me the keys to my new car. We love it! We haven't purchased a new car since we've been married so this was a pretty big deal. It couldn't have come at a better time...the A/C in the Honda went out the next week...Billy gets to drive that. Hopefully our next vacation will be a little less stressful.
